Tasting Notes
Intensely aromatic with grapefruit, orange bitters, dried fruit and marmalade. Followed by a complex palate of mandarin, citrus, and apricot...and the list goes on.
Vineyard Notes
Glacier deposit, sandy gravelly marine over sandy gravelly morainal leading to Schist clay at 12-16’ depths. Elevation sloping from 31m to 11m above sea level. Pruning VSP (Vertical Shoot Position): Cane, Double. Traditional Sustainable Farming methods. No herbicides. No pesticides. Limited irrigation is required in record high-temperature conditions in June. 2021 saw the hottest days of history in Comox hitting 38°c on June 27th, but over 40°c in the vineyard with many other sweltering days from June through August. The average sunlight was between 14 and 16 hours during the growing period with an average monthly precipitation of 3.6cm.
Winemaker Notes
20 day fermentation. De-stemmed and soaked on skins for 20 days. Free run to puncheon for maturation. Racked to stainless steel and cold stabilized.

On its own it's very hard to drink but compared with Cheese oh my word the taste completely changes and mind blowing. Perfect with a charcuterie board!

I love this wine. I've never found anything like it. Hints of orange peel. I love this on its own, almost as an aperitif. Even better with cheese.
