Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
John Schreiner says this: 40 Knots Ziggy Siegerrebe 2016 ($22.90). Siegerrebe, an under-appreciated white variety, is a godsend for the cooler vineyards on Vancouver Island and the Fraser Valley. An early ripening aromatic grape, Siegerrebe invariably delivers exuberant tropical aromas and flavors. This wine is an example: aromas and flavors of spice, grapefruit, and lime with a crisp, dry finish. 90. 40 Knots Sieg 2018 ($22.90 for 278 cases). The variety in this wine is Siegerrebe, a full-flavoured German white. The winery has resolved the challenging pronunciation by labelling the wine just with the first syllable. The wine has dramatic aromas of lime, lemon and spice that are echoed on the palate. With just 10.9% alcohol, the wine is light and fresh. 90.

Great blended white for easy drinking and pairing with food. Smell nice but driest at 40 knots. We both like it.. Good body. Should try with blue cheese n honey. https://www.fastcustomessaywriting.com/

We had a fantastic tasting at the winery today, tasting 6 wines, we liked all of them , but the Sieg was the favourite. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. A lovely experience.

40 knots is one of our favorite wineries on Vancouver Island. We love pairing Sieg with seafood and lighter meals. It has a wonderful bouquet and goes down way to easy!

This year I really favoured the Sieg for its bold, refreshing taste. It paired well with grilled local oysters, fresh greens and roasted potatoes. A lovely white wine to have ready in the fridge for guests (if it lasts!).
