40 Knots Vineyard

in 2006, root stock was brought in from France and planted in the glacier till soils of 40 Knots.  Pinot Noir, Gamay Noir, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay take up the majority of their 20 acre vineyard.  In 2010-2012, the French hybrid Pinot Auxerrois and the German hybrids Siegerrebe and Schonberger were planted.  The vineyard is farmed biodynamic and and interpretive trail is available for you to stroll through and learn more about how 40 Knot's farms.
